Jamestown Community

Jamestown, home to 14,925 residents, serves as the economic and cultural center for a six-county area. It is located 90 miles west of Fargo in a picturesque river valley where the James and Pipestem Rivers meet. Jamestown has an excellent public school system and a private four-year college. The city is the hometown of author Louis L’Amour, Grammy winner Peggy Lee, and Anaheim Angels baseball standout Darin Erstad. Jamestown is also home to The World's Largest Buffalo, the National Buffalo Museum, and the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame.
