Medina Community

Situated approximately 30 miles west of Jamestown, Medina is home to 312 friendly folks. The city is located in the Prairie Pothole Region, so named because it is dotted with small ponds and lakes. Medina offers a unique small-town lifestyle, yet is within a comfortable drive to Bismarck, North Dakota’s capital, and Fargo, the state’s major city. The Chase Lake National Wildlife Refuge, which is northwest of Medina, is the home of the largest nesting colony of white pelicans in North America.
