Menahga Community
Wade in the Blueberry River, stroll along the white sugar-sand beaches of Spirit Lake, and walk down the picturesque streets of Menahga, population 1,223, one of Minnesota’s most beautiful little towns. Amenities abound, including the beautiful Menahga Memorial Garden, which features a gazebo, a fountain, and a bridge. And Menahga hosts the annual St. Urho festival on March 16 to honor the mythical “saint” Urho who allegedly drove the grasshoppers from Finland and saved the grapes.
