Wahpeton Community

Wahpeton Wahpeton is in southeastern North Dakota right across the Red River of the North from Breckenridge, Minnesota. The two communities have a combined population of more than 12,000. Wahpeton is home to a large number of manufacturers and the North Dakota State College of Science. It’s also home to “Wahpper,” the World’s Largest Catfish, which symbolizes the wealth of fishing and other outdoor sports offered in this agricultural area.
