Innovis Health Walker
Walker Clinic joined Innovis Health in January 1985. The 5,300-square-foot clinic contains 11 exam rooms, a large ER/procedure room, lab and x-ray services. A staff of 14 works with visiting specialists in surgical, internal medicine and dietary services to provide the people of Walker well-rounded health-care services.
Innovis Health Walker, also works closely with its sister clinics in Menahga and Park Rapids to assist patients with needed services. The Walker Clinic provides everything from blood pressure checks to radiology services and van transportation to Fargo. Our physicians also provide ongoing medical care at the local nursing home and at Ah-Gwah-Ching, the state psychiatric nursing home.
Located 30 miles from the nearest hospital (St. Joseph's Area Health Services in Park Rapids), Walker Clinic has a very active Emergency Room and is capable of handling most medical emergencies that come through its doors. For those few emergencies that require additional services, the Walker Clinic is prepared to transport the patient to the closest capable facility.
