Nutrition
Innovis Health Cancer Center offers nutrition therapy for clients on an individual consultative basis.
Eating well during cancer therapy is vital for your body to work at its best. Eating well will help you cope better with the side effects of treatment.
Because dietary intake is an important part of cancer treatment and recovery, patients are assessed for nutritional risk, provided counseling on how to cope with treatment side effects and given information regarding eating hints and nutritional supplements.

These side effects can include, but are not limited to, nausea, digestive problems, decreased appetite, weight loss, problems swallowing, mouth sores, sore throat, change in taste or smell, and fatigue.
Amy Hieb, a Registered Dietitian, is licensed in North Dakota and has worked as a dietitian for five years in a variety of settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at North Dakota State University.
