Innovis Health Cancer Center

Innovis Health Cancer Center has been awarded the 2005 Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC). The CoC Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes cancer programs that strive for excellence in providing quality care to cancer patients. Our facility received this award after an on-site evaluation by a physician surveyor during which we demonstrated a Commendation level of compliance with all seven eligible standards that represent the full scope of cancer care (clinical services, research, community outreach, cancer committee leadership, cancer data management, and quality improvement). Thirty-nine programs, or just nine percent of programs surveyed during 2005, received the award.

Innovis Health Cancer Center is a comprehensive cancer facility, providing a high level of professional care to cancer patients. We promote quality of life while providing compassionate, effective care.

Innovis Health Cancer Center is dedicated to:

  • Providing compassionate, holistic and state-of-the-art medical care.
  • Recognizing the dignity and worth of the people we serve.
  • Cooperating with patients, educating them and involving them in decision making.
  • Maintaining open communication and relationships of trust and respect among patients, physicians and all healthcare workers.
  • Encouraging our staff to continue their education and involvement in oncology organizations in order to give the best care possible to our patients.
  • Supporting new research activities. We view these as essential elements in the overall progress of cancer treatment to improve the quality of care to our patients.

The Innovis Health Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art cancer facility. Opening its doors in the fall of 1988, the Center is a member of the Association of Community Cancer Centers, a leading oncology policy organization for the cancer care team. We use the latest, breakthrough technology to help our patients and give them the highest quality care they deserve.

At Innovis Health Cancer Center, we provide a number of services including free transportation for our patients from Jamestown, Park Rapids and Fosston to Fargo. The Innovis Health Cancer Center offers Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Surgical Oncology services.
